Inside the door are two racks that are narrow perfect for small juice and butter cartons. The refrigerator utilizes thermoelectric cooling instead of compressors. The refrigerator is quieter and emits only a slight hum.
The refrigerator's capacity total of 295 litres, which includes the fridge compartment having 209 litres, and the bottom-mounted freezer supplying 89 litres of storage space. The refrigerator isn't free of frost and will require periodic manual defrosting to ensure its performance is at its best. The drawer for chilled drinks is a nice addition and the crisper drawer has ample space for fresh vegetables and fruits.

It was also relatively quiet, with a noise score of 42dB. It's a little louder than the smaller models we tested, but it is quieter than older refrigerators which made a lot of noise.

retro freezer is quite quiet, even though it is a compressor model that is traditional. It was measured at 42dB when it was running. It is considerably quieter than models made a decade ago and much quieter than the majority of refrigerator freezers on our Best Buy chart.
Temperature stability was also good for a fridge that was this kind. The top shelf, middle and bottom all offered an average temperature that was within a couple of degrees either side of the maximum figure. The temperature in the salad drawer varied between 5oC to just under freezing.
